@TheGamesEmporium I'm actually Australian, though I've visited the UK many times and seen the changes there as well. I grew up on a third of an acre thirty five minutes drive to Brisbane. Our garden was home to koalas and echidnas. Today it is six lanes of asphalt and a concrete jungle of high density housing and the animals are extinct in the wild. I left the state entirely when it became unsafe for women to shop unless there were armed police present in the shopping centre.

@TheGamesEmporium Yes thankyou. We now live in a rural seaside town in a state with a smaller population. However the governments new policy is migrants for the regions. So lots of new faces popping up here now. I would take feeling unsafe seriously. In the area I used to live in, recently a grandmother was stabbed to death by five diverse young men, in a shopping centre carpark in broad daylight, and Infront of her six year old granddaughter. So there but the grace of God go I. I was correct to feel unsafe. Please take care.

Back when class was still under discussion, I remember it being said socialists don't love the poor, they just hate the rich. I think the same applies to race politics today.

@ricochet2977 No it was Queensland. Where the grandmother recently died. I was right to be afraid to go shopping. I'm sorry to hear WA is also falling.
