  4. I hear you from Australia. You are the same age as my eldest. We left the city when it became too unsafe to shop for food unless the supermarket employed armed police. As three generations we moved to a rural town to at least buy the gkids a childhood. It's been fantastic. Houses are cheaper and schools are better and people still love their country. It's a fallacy there are no jobs in small towns. It's the same as cities, but on a different scale. GPs, men to drive the garbage truck and everything in between. I hope this helps. When you find a great town keep the churches and pubs full and insist the local school serves bacon. Cheers 🥂 and merry Christmas.

  6. I lived through the period when the WAP was changed to multiculturalism in Australia. In the 1970s married women started going out to work. It suppressed wages without decreasing consumerism, so big business was happy. It trippled the tax base, mum, dad and the babysitter, so government was happy. It doubled the cost of housing, so investors were happy. By the 90s they'd dragged every woman they ever would out to work. Then they discovered they could do it every year with mass immigration.
