The first being Germany’s own deficiency in oil and American oil contribution amounted to 6 billion barrels out of the 7 billion barrels consumed by the Allies. Most of the oil coming from Texas. 2. For D-Day a huge ‘Oil Pipeline’ between England and France was built through the Channel. 3. The ‘Allies’ overwhelming airpower. 4. Totalling $11.3 billion, or $180 billion in today's currency, the Lend-Lease Act of the USA supplied with more than 400,000 jeeps and trucks, 14,000 aircraft, 8,000 tractors and construction vehicles, and 13,000 battle tanks to the Soviet Union.

  22. Considering France had a bigger army and more tanks. The French pilots are often cited, as lacking on how to use air power. Different story when the the Luftwaffe flew over to Britain. They got defeated in the ‘Battle of Britain’ 💪

  27. At least the Sherman tanks were reliable and had plenty of fuel unlike the German tanks that had to be abandoned because they either broke down or ran out of fuel.

  33.  @gurnish9741  Britain had the most victories 11153 … France had a Revolution because it didn’t have enough money to pay for wars so they taxed the people so much the people starved because they had no money for food. France has always been a disaster. Humiliating surrender to the Nazis in just six weeks.
