A BOATLOAD of fruits and vegetables is set to arrive in Poole, imminently on the first ship to sail a new ‘Brexit-busting’ route from Morocco. The direct service, operated by United Seaways, will help ease Brexit-related hold-ups and disruptions to supply chains. Ships will run twice weekly and they bypass the EU. I hope this continues with other non-EU countries and Britain can bypass the EU completely. No more trade wars with the EU.

@darrenflynn706 The EU have, had such bad British press, the British are glad to be bypassing the EU, regardless of the cost. The British view, the EU as the Fourth Reich. The action the EU, are taking against Hungary & Poland is a disgrace, it will bring back WW2.

@stephenthomas3085 Now that the U.K. has left the EU. EU laws can either be scrapped or incorporated into U.K. law. The Euro which is tied to the European Central Bank, controls all VAT, interest rates, borrowing and inflation, it ruined the economy of Greece. Poland, Hungary don’t want to surrender to the ECJ. The EU principles are based on supranationalism. In order for this to work, EU member states have to agree (normally through signing a treaty) to hand over their sovereignty to the EU. (Basically handing over the keys of their country to the EU.) As long as EU law takes precedence over national law, it will undermine the nation state. Germany & France control the EU. For the British It was never about economics. The British people voted to get the keys of their country back.

Hundreds of the containers on the ships are Transport lorries. Which immediately take the goods to the supermarkets. All logistic support is supplied by the shipping company. You don’t honestly think they would leave the produce to rot.

@darrenflynn706 Ask Boris ?

Irish Unification is the only answer. NI costs the British billions every year. Let the EU pay the billions to NI after Unification.

The Legend of Spitfire Hunter, MoorHouse and his family of anti British, EU bigots. Well said.

Britain in a trade WAR with the EU. Britain must get out of the EU completely. Scrap the NI protocol and take the ECJ out of NI. Go WTO.

@davidgreen6490 Better not to be in any bloc. Best to be an independent sovereign country.

The British shipping company ‘United Seaways’ has created a new direct cargo route connecting the UK and Morocco, with – the first non-stop route linking the two nations from Poole in Dorset to Tanger-Med in northern Morocco. The service will utilise a roll-on, roll-off freight ferry and will bypass EU to UK checks at European borders. The cargo is full of fresh fruit and vegetables from a non-EU country. I heard it’s best to avoid EU produce heading for Britain at the moment. Since tensions are high. 🤣

Maybe it’s the EU Nationals coming to Britain that are spreading Covid. Need to close the borders.

@sanjayfurtado3993 In the Souss region of southern Morocco, fertile lands in the Atlas mountains produce fresh fruit and vegetables that are supplying rapidly expanding numbers of British customers. It does NOT come from Spain. @Rhine0Cowboy What the EU does is nothing to do with the U.K. and vice versa.
