  8.  @fosterffoster5092  My Great Grandfather was one of the men who was left behind in Dunkirk He was a German prisoner of war .. he had a Shrapnel wound on his leg .. but forced himself to march at eighteen years old. If he had stopped he would have been shot. . He survived the camp due to being very German looking ..blue eyed , fair haired. and the major fact that the German guards were not SS. But older men. He worked every day except Sunday in the forest cutting wood. Where a Polish farmer’s wife took pity on him and other boys and gave him food which the German guards allowed after she had feed them of course. They also got Red Cross parcels. Although he said he was always Hungary. My Great Grandfather was interviewed by authors who were doing research for books about Dunkirk…. I give up on this site … this site is all about British hated propaganda … no doubt my comment will be deleted. Thank goodness for GB news.

We are joining the fastest growing economic trade bloc in the world and are in the final stages of securing a FTA with the worlds fastest growing economy - India. Britain is looking forward to trading with individual nations again which is the best way forward.

The will of the people was ‘Patriotic’ and all our great soldiers fought for King and country not for Internationalism. It was Britain’s Commonwealth countries that came to help Britain, (the motherland.) The US allied itself with Britain and Britain’s commonwealth …when Europe was taken over..by Germany. It was ‘Britain’ & the ‘Commonwealth’ along with the ‘US’ on D-Day that liberated Europe. Plus if France had not given in so easily and not surrendered so quickly.. things may have been different. My great grandfather was taken prisoner in a town, a few miles from Dunkirk and was in a German prisoner of war camp for five years. Luckily he survived… his younger brother was killed on D-Day. Our great soldiers fought for King and country… not for Internationalism. You wanted to understand the reality of the sacrifice.

While France happily escorts migrants in dinghies to Britain without ID causing a security risk to Britain. Remember France will have to ask Germany’s permission or the ECJ before it can halt any immigration for five years. That is EU rules. The ECJ decides what France can or can’t do .. not France. All the EU nations are under the ECJ. France can’t go against the ECJ.
