  2. When the LA police decided to work on it’s racial diversity some 20 years, they were successful in matching the “community” without lowering bars. Yes, they didn’t hire whites, but they didn’t lower the bar. Definitely put people in the front of the line. After Rampart, they cleaned house of a lot of corruption. They and the NYPD are probably the most trained officers in the US. Are they woke now? I am not sure even living 45 miles from the city. They are defanged by the Soros DA for sure and are short of candidates like Portland and Seattle.
