@wallyllama2926 I don't really have an issue with Trump but how did he put his life on the line? If that's the case then we can say every prez puts their life on the line bec they'love their country

@veeeds Trump has been in the public eye for decades. Being mocked and criticized isnt new territory to him bec he's had several controversies in the past before even getting into politics and from cartoons to comedy shows have talked about him. I don't see what those things have to do with putting one's life in the line.

@marthabfoerch2 Trump has never been one to want to be in the background so an easy retirement wouldnt be for him. I don't think presidents can be compared on how they've been attacked bec what we have today such as social media, the present political environment and what's acceptable to say or do wasnt the same or unheard of in certain periods of history but they all got their share of criticisms.

@jamessampson964 Contempt for what? My question wasnt disrespectful and people getting bothered by it or questions about Biden is the reason the atmosphere is the way it is now. There have been 4 presidents who have been assassinated and several shot. There have been presidents who literally put their life on the line Ronald Reagan was in the hospital for 12 days after being shot. In 1912 as Theodore Roosevelt was getting to his car on his way to give a speech he was shot in the chest. He realized he was shot but still went on to give the speech. He showed the crowd his blood soaked vest and took out the bloodied, bullet holed paper with his speech. Aides begged him to stop speaking but it's when he was finished he agreed to go to the hospital.

@jamessampson964 He didn't know that was found to happen jus like all the other presidents that were assassinated and shot at. So they literally put their life on the line too. Theodore Roosevelt was going to go make a speech when he was shot in the chest and went ahead with his speech. His vest was bloody and paper of speech had bullet holes. After he was done speaking he went to the hospital
