  1. Because I'm American I don't like slimy or stinky (except for cheese). So no natto for me! 😅 I love fishy and many kinds of seaweed. Almost all Japanese food I've tried is delicious. I've never had shio-kara but would love to try it. Umeboshi is impossible to find and try -- at least it can't be found in a small amount in the States. There are giant, expensive jars online but nothing sample sized. White bait looks delicious! I often ate wasabi peas snack with tiny dried shrimps but I can't find it anymore. Is that a Japanese snack or is that an American take on Japanese food? In my area, most Japanese food and products must be special ordered and cooked at home. Thanks again for your hard work Nao! I'd love to see another Japanese ingredient video.
