In this modern psycho-drama, no-one wants anyone for that person in themselves. It's all transactional and men are only valued for what they can provide. Provide more (i.e. pay, directly or indirectly), and women will "want you". Don't take it personally, it does not define your worth. Only you can define your worth. They don't have the morals or ethics to provide a positive valuation anyway. Do you really care if you are valued or wanted by ethical pygmies? Why not get a dog? More loyal and kinder....

First the labour saving devices in the home (1950s), then the pill (1960s), then second wave feminism (1970s), then social media (this century). It will be back to traditionalism after societal collapse, unless the women join forces even further with big daddy governments and the money-power elites, then we will all find ourselves in 1984.

They will always support big daddy government which will become brutal and force everyone to do what they dictate. It's already happening, witness the massive growth in authoritarian government, supported by those who wish to extract resources from others while giving little in return, governments will always cosy up to the demographics that demand government fix everything for them.

@kocerarif Yes but society used to keep the worst instincts of men and women in check. Selfishness is antithetical to social justice. It was feminism and more generally leftism that wanted to change all that. The critique offered by Better Bachelor is of feminism, wokeism and all the hypocrisy associated with those movements. This is not just "complaining". When the silly ideas and their consequences are held up for ridicule it helps people adjust their expectations and world view, to enable better values to re-emerge. Hypergamy and promiscuity are elements of human nature, true, but getting the most out of the situation as you suggest involves seeing their costs and the costs of self-absorption. Why is this so difficult to understand?

Monogamy harnesses the power of average men by giving them a stake in society. Remove the prospects of average men by favoring polygamy over monogamy causes them to quit, as as average men are the ones who maintain the infrastructure and systems, society will crumble as they look elsewhere. Societies where polygamy is rampant are poor because most men don't buy in with their loyalty and labor. Polygamy precedes poverty.

That's what a lot of them are doing. They are dealing with their suffering. Yours is yet to come.
