Maybe businesses should stop having so much influence on governments? The Australian Government is a sovereign and can do whatever it chooses to do in law. FB is an American private company and they can abide by Australian laws enacted by democratically elected Australian governments.

You write "..if u believe Murdoch has no influence...I have nothing for ya". I conclude: Nas Murph is prone to logical fallacies. Of course Murdoch has influence. That is not the same as owning every media outlet in the country. I further conclude Nas Murph is poorly educated and I'm wasting my time engaging with him or her.

@nasmurph5453 Yes. I disagree with your first argument that Murdoch owns everything because AS MY LIST PROVES, he does NOT own every media outlet as the LIST shows many owners of media outlets that are NOT MURDOCH. Now please stop wasting our time and learn to follow basic logical sequences.

The impact on ordinary Australians will be to further waken them to the lies and venal distortions practiced by all forms of media, mainstream and social. The lying media are enemies of democracy, propaganda tools of the oligarchic elite. Spare us your pity for these traitors. Are you one of them?
