@lauracolo06 You are avoiding the fundamental issue which is "What value does a women bring to a man and a relationship?". And no, it isn't being a boss babe or making money or demands he enable her career, or even the cleaning and housework. You misunderstand Dr. Taraban. He said basic services can be outsourced. Women talk about 'team' but never bother to consider what that means in regards their contribution. They think that they are team players just by existing. Women think they are the table and the prize without having to do ANYTHING and high value men know that is not true. So good luck getting one if you are not agreeable, kind, friendly, loyal, good-hearted etc. See the three videos he made for women: "How to get any man you want: (1) the master key; (2) the hook; and (3) the unbreakable rule."

Absolutely agreeable personality is far and above the most important thing normal men seek in women. Everything else follows or is negotiable. A kind-hearted women is incredibly valuable and actually much much rarer than people think.

@rob21 Things get complicated when one side see themselves as "high value". Seeing yourself as 'high value' is indeed a problem and one that besets one sex in particular. The world is full of examples evertwhere you look and the sex ratio of delusion is highly skewed. I'll let you guess which way it goes.

This is the absolute truth. This dynamic also underlies the problem of male disposability throughout society. People typically deprecate and de-humanise those they exploit, and the lack of empathy for men shown by women (the evidence is everywhere) has its roots in the need of women to use men for their resources while giving the bare minimum in return.

As noted above, high value men do not particularly value high social achievement (education, career success) in women. They already have that stuff themselves. It is not that they hate it, or deprecate it, or are intimidated by it, it just does not count for much in what they want from a woman. These are ancillary or adjunct qualities. What they want is kind-heartedness, empathy, agreeableness, loyalty, support and to be honest, a modicum of looks and sex appeal. That is why high value men are just as likely to marry the hairdresser, barista or waitress as they are the high-powered lawyer or physician. Of course a lawyer or physician can have these eminently feminine qualities if she puts her mind to it. However, most boss babes are mannish, combative and psychologically distorted by the struggle. A high quality woman complements a high quality man in the areas he lacks. Of course also, a female physician and doctor can marry a sweet caring broke man with no career prospects if she wants, but will she really? Will she be happy? How many do this? The funny thing is, being a high quality women (kind-hearted, empathic, agreeable, loyal, supportive etc.) should in principle not be that hard. It does not take years of work. However, it does take character and that is sadly lacking in modern women today. Men mourn the lack of such women. I also acknowledge that men also suffer form the degradation of character resulting from modernity.

Modern women are so far from the divine feminine as to be a joke. Who are you kidding? Adopting the worst aspects of faux masculinity, they throw their weight around acting entitled and self-absorbed. You expect honour from men while women are incapable of anything approaching that. Not slaves. Kind-hearted, agreeable, pleasant companions. Such women are a rarity and men mourn their loss. The more I learn of female perspectives, the more I realise the much vaunted (by women) trope of their being kind-hearted, agreeable and compassionate is rubbish. Or rather, they are capable of that, to pets, children and those dependent upon them or that they see as lesser. They seem incapable of empathy for men and wish only to denigrate them. Of course, deprecating those you wish to exploit is feature of human psychology, which explains why women everywhere complain about men incessantly. Why even consider their viewpoint when men are so clearly unworthy? Better to just state that men are trash and leave them to their fate. That is the view-point of modern women.

"High value' is determined by the counter-party. Your definition of a 'high-value women' is what women think is high value (in men). But men do not think that the money that a woman brings makes her high value. Men do not think that a women being able to pleasure herself sexually makes her high value. Men do not think that a woman's 'independence' makes her high value. Men think that 'high value' in women corresponds to an agreeable, kind-hearted, supportive personality. This is extremely rare in modern women and men mourn the loss of these qualities. I am not disagreeing with your point about love being a two-way street. However, it is much easier to elicit love based on mutual positive personality traits than the somewhat transactional examples you gave. Modern women typically conflate the different valuations, thinking that their financial and career success will make them attractive to men. It is not repellant in itself, but often leads to overbearing and 'masculinized' behaviour in women which is deeply unattractive to men.

However, (without deprecating women at all) could it be that the "zing' is a type of sexual chemistry? The "feefies", the 'tingle'? If it is not provision, protection/safety, stoicism/resilience, or other character traits? If so, it's Chadrone - the equivalent of male requirements for looks and hotness in women.

@sweetifer Typically, not always, the man brings more 'stuff' into the relationship. That is part of female hypergamy. Women want men that are successful and wealthy. The relationship transaction means he brings 'stuff' and she is meant to bring support and human qualities. These are unenforcable aspects of the 'contract', so when she leaves, she leaves with more 'stuff' than she brought and her contribution is not measured (it is unmeasurable). This works to her benefit, not his. To say that women in general leave because men act like it is his 'stuff' and never through any fault of her own is laughable.

@sweetifer Learn the difference between particular examples and generalities. I do not claim to know the minds of any specific woman, such as yourself. However it is possible to study the behaviour of people in general and learn of their motives and actions. Are you saying no-one is capable social science? Can psychologists make deduction about the behaviour of people in general? Is any study of humanity valid? My comment specifically went to generalities, I used the very word, and you seem to be talking about one case, maybe your own. This is solipsism and wooly thinking all presented smugly.

@psychacks In general, women are not capable of genuine intellectual conversations as compared to men. They tend to the vapid, lack nuance, overly emotional, are solipsistic and do not understand the value and limits of particulars vs. generalisations.

The problem is that kind of love is actually not really available from modern women. Modern women do NOT bring that to the table. I'm not sure but I suspect men are still able to love in that way somewhat more than modern women, but of course this view could be contested and is fertile ground for a war of words between the sexes in this comments section.

@Cuticatie It is doubtful nowadays that women even love men at all. They say they do, and think that they should, and never admit that they don't, but maybe they just can't. Possibly, the ideas of what love is differs across the sexes. After all, other cultures recognise many different types of love which we all subsume under the one word 'love'. It would be interesting to do a well-powered survey and analysis of what emotions are accompanied by the identification of 'love' in modern men and women.

The West is imploding as we speak and in 20 years time will be unrecognisable, all the middle management jobs will disappear along with most wealth. Do you really think things will continue on the same trajectory? Hard, hard times are coming and women will demand men protect them from the consequences of leftism, feminism and modernity (all the while demanding leftist, feminist and post-modern solutions to insoluble problems)..

Women are NOT emotionally supportive to men. They like to think they are, they believe it, they tell themselves and their friends that is the way they are, but they do not ask men if it is true. Men know if is pretty much a fiction, a fairy-tale that fits the female narrative. Modern women are increasingly much more of an emotional burden than an asset and men are waking up to this fast. Women are compassionate to kittens, puppies and children but not men. It is difficult for women to have empathy for men as they need to exploit them, hence the society-wide phenomenon of denigrating men led by women. You may be an exception and of course there are many but that is the way of the world.
