  1. The affluence is going away. It's false affluence based on fiat money and unsustainable debt that allows the more ridiculous progressive ideas to thrive. When the debt implodes and we become much poorer we will all have to adapt and it will not be a return to normality. Perhaps the two cultures will become more polarised and society will split up. Who knows how it will play out?
