@DavidGalvanwiz Very much so. Manufactured foods are full of unnatural chemicals that make the food taste great but are toxic, hard to digest and send your body haywire. Your example, maple syrup, often contains high fructose corn syrup which leads very quickly to diabetes. Usually, these chemical additives are very cheap on an industrial scale, which makes them attractive to the food industry. The food industry and chemical industry are closely related. Read the back labels to see what chemicals are in the processed foods you are buying. If you don't trust the chemicals, don't eat it. You will add years to your life.
