  1. Yeah my dad is like that to. I'm 48, and he's turning 68. Just as an example, his house needs a few windows 🪟. He says, "why should I change my windows 🪟, it won't be for me!" This arrogance from a man who only has a house 🏠 because my grandmother left it to him. Me me me I I I ....TYPE OF GUY. BOUGHT ALL THE TOYS N NEGLECTED HIS 3 SONS. I was an after thought in his life as he left when I was 2. My point is, knowing he's so selfish I'm starting to ask myself, who's caring for you now when illness sets in?" ITS really tough to be open arms n nose to the grinder for someone who abandoned me.. my other 2 younger brothers had him for a period while he was married to their mom. To paint a picture, pretty much anything he gives us we give it back. You know when someone gives you something but they really don't want to? That's how it is with all 3. I'm not sure how I'll be if he gets ill before me when it comes to homecare...selfish has a price.

  3. IF YOUR PARENTS WERE GOOD TO YOU OVER YOUR LIFE BY ALL MEANS TAKE CARE OF THEM. HOWEVER, MANY BOOMERS ARE SELFISH TO THE CORE. CHOICE IS YOURS. YOU OWE THEM NOTHING.
