I can't even plug into anyone around me that is awakened, except my mentor. My town is so encapsulated with consumerism. Buying. Buying. And but more. I'm totally non materialistic.   40. Through schooling and my 20's and up to mid 30's while also playing high caliber hockey 🏒 i had many friends. Id say i could compare it to a rainforest. Now at 48 and seperated since 43 my social network is comparable to the nevada desert 🏜. Family all stays apart n never really visits each other and mainly were all reduced to texting, which i hate n think is very impersonal and a LAZY WAY TO KEEP THE ILLUSION WERE CONNECTED!! WE LIVE 5 MINUTES FROM EACH OTHER IN THE SAME TOWN N WERE LIKE STRANGERS. I TRY CONNECTING BUT I MEAN THAT DOOR SWINGS BOTH WAYS. IM A GOOD PERSON N LIVING THE RIGHT WAY, I HELP MY SIBLINGS, BUT MOSTLY WITH MY MALAMUTE JACK 🐻‍❄️. I JUST TRY TO NOT TAKE IT PERSONAL. ITS SAD REALLY. I HATE THESE PHONES.   46. I had to take that road. I walked from a 25yr relationship from feeling unappreciated and taken for granted for too long. I couldn't repair the damage her dad put on her mom, whom passed it to my women. We weren't married legally, as it wasn't something I really believed in seeing so many divorces growing up. In my opinion I think it would be more of a hex on our relationship had we officially gotten married. So I didn't ask. Her mom passed on to her the mindset of, "have a man, but don't depend on him too much cause they always leave. I was a very good partner, but I couldn't handle that barrier any longer. Single 4yrs now n 46. I really feel the feminism mindset ultimately ended my relationship. I always put her first, but didn't feel the same support. However, I now know how wrong and unhealthy my behavior was, but I was taught to take care of your women. How was I to know I shouldn't be too good to her. Messed up mindset.🙄
