I forgot ads are supposed to list every single policy they stand for and why. Especially their first ad. I swear sometimes the Kulinsky and Dore types don’t even live in a real world

Problem with totally skipping over $15, which can easily be argued for, and jumped straight to 20+ is you leave behind a lot of people that that jump to 15 would help.

@burninghard Perhaps he should propose a bill in his ads? Or should he just sit down in front of a screen and blandly talk about what policies he supports, I’m sure that’ll really get him elected you absolute dingus.

@burninghard Yeah, it appeals to emotion and points out some hard truths, paints himself as the candidate to change things and adds a dash of optimism. Puts him on the map in a good way. Look, if you don’t understand the importance of ads or emotionality and advertising when it comes to running and winning races, I don’t know what to tell you.

@burninghard that’s what it did!! Maybe not to your satisfaction, but again it’s the first ad, his launch off ad. It was a good one. And yes, Biden and Trump had good ads for their targeted bases as well

@burninghard I’m not saying he’s a god tier politician, but it’s fine as a political ad that’s all I’m saying. He’s gotta build momentum to get engagement, this ad is a good start.
