@beepboop5038 I literally never said that you said they should all die? You’re just lashing out because you’re having the flaws in your argument fleshed out. You are basically saying that religion is inherently evil in its current incarnation(not just wrong or nonsensical which id likely agree with), but evil. Thus, those who participate in it are a part of that evil. I’m arguing that your issue is with the corrupt and bigoted portion of organized religion but you refuted that and called them evil again. I’m saying don’t be anti-people and generalize them as evil and you are for some reason taking issue with that?! “Hey man, don’t be bigoted against all religious people based on a generalization” is only controversial to a bigoted minded person. Be anti bigot, not anti theist or whatever you want to try and spin it as. You hate religious people and you’re trying to mask that. Your line of thinking isn’t too far off from the same people you claim to hate.

Are we evil because we participate in a capitalistic society? Your generalizations are not much different than the bigoted religious people. They see us as sinners and corrupting the world, you see religious people as evil and bringing out a dark reality to the world. How different are these two schools of thought?

@beepboop5038 4 of my coworkers, who worth with me on studying effects of climate change, go to church and are plenty religious and are some of the most kind people you will ever meet. They also marched with me at BLM marches and are also in the sunrise movement with me. What would you say to them? Are they evil because they go to church? Should they just sit on YouTube all day and talk about their hatred of atheists because they encountered this asshole Trey Martinets under a video?
