  9.  @Trivski  Absolutely, the heart behind his push for M4A is perfectly justified, and trust me I’m in the same boat as a type one diabetic. Just Dore and his like who tend to support accelerationism don’t tend to see the upfront harm/long term after effects that that ideology can cause right? That’s how I think about it at least. It’s a lot more complex than he makes out, frustratingly and unnecessarily complex, but that’s the reality.

Agreeing on overall plan/hopes and such is perfectly great, being able to stoll support someone even if their strategy is different is also what true support is though. He’s obsessed with his own ideas and will support people who support his ideas alone, that’s what I’m getting at. It’s himself he supports.

  22.  @Trivski  Oh I definitely agree more with your side of things concerning this Med4All push and push to get Pelosi out, when I was referring to harmful effects of accelerationism that was more about other matters. I definitely think there’s an optimal way of doing things between Jimmy’s line of thinking and AOC’s, we just need to find it and stop just wanting to win the argument over the other “side”.

See I’m not a debate lord, I’m a climate scientist and sunrise movement member, not a politician nor do I want to be one. Do I like AOC? Yeah, ofc, she’s done a lot. Is she infalible? No of course not, neither is Jimmy or anyone for that matter. I actually agreed initially with the criticism of AOC, but Jimmy and his fans go absolutely off the rails the minute people don’t 100% side with them and go full scorched earth because if there’s one thing they love more than actual progress, it’s arguing and debating and punditry.

Also Dore saying “here’s a plan that might work give it a whirl” and a “*this plan will work and if you don’t follow it, you’re the problem*” and causing massive infighting are vastly different things no? Also, who’s to say Jimmy’s ideas are so great and perfect and guaranteed to work?
