That particular strike might be discouraging people, but all the news footage from elsewhere in Ukraine is encouraging people to go, because they believe Ukraine can win this war and people are sick of seeing Russian strikes on innocent civilians.

@Carl Ruffier There are many civilians who have not been able to flee Ukraine and who are not fit enough to lift a rifle to aim it. Certainly no child would be allowed to fight no matter how dire the situation.

Destryoing a factory during a war when the workers are out fighting your troops isn't strategic, or even sabotage, it's spiteful. What is funny is that Russia, and the Russian people, will have to pay to rebuild Ukraine's Industrial Military Complex.
2
@hafizzx96 Russia cannot wipe Ukrainians from the face of the earth. Genocide is illegal and you should not support it, lest your country be the one that gets erased.

Ezekiel 33 In your dreams, Putin is not going to live very long.

Russian troops were 20km from Kyiv ten days ago, and they still haven't taken even one area of Kyiv. I'm sorry but Russia is not winning. Ukraine may not be winning yet either, but the Ukrainans have 900,000 fighting men on the ground, the Russians have but 200,000.

@adamson5779 The Russian invasion was unlawful. All Russians should be ashamed of their President.
2
The Russian people have a great opporuntiy to be able to cleanse their country of the old Soviet thinking and paranoia. Time for another revolution!

Yet more misunderstanding of NATO. NATO is not frustrated. NATO has neither the desire nor remit to fight on Ukrainian soil. Russians are paranoid.
1
@MJ-ee7fr NATO is not frustrated in any way. NATO has no remit to assist Ukraine.
1
@MJ-ee7fr NATO is not frustrated by its remit.

@DamienYuen7718 I understand that child soldiers are common in African and the Middle East, and you are right that there is some racism and some normalisation of this barbaric practice, but it is not common in Europe. Also other countries have been less able to act in Africa and the Middle East because many of the wars whee child soldiers have been forced to fight have been civil wars.
1
@auchnleckmakhina8821 The Ukrainians will make them pay.
1
Only because they are paranoid.

Russia will buy them lots of new machines from Germany and Japan.

@1xobile Only a Russian would treat a refugee as a 2nd class citizen.
1
@nicholussibusisovilakazi951 It is very possible that they will win.
1
@dtesla2118 Actually most people know that Russia is Russia and Ukraine is Ukraine, only brainwashed Russians don't know this. If I was Zelensky, I would not agree to peace unless it is agreed that all Russian children will be taught this in school.
1
Putin will fail. The influences that lead to democratic expansion are too strong, in Ukraine and in Russia.
1
Don't you mean Steppe?
1
If you want glory for Mother Russia, you need to pray that Tsar Putin knows how to make glory out of dead Russian soldiers.

I thought Moldova might be next on Putin's list, but Moldova doesn't have the natural resources that Ukraine has. I think Putin will take over the Transnistria region (east of the Dniester River) for sure, but will not bother will Moldova. Ukraine will wage a insurgent war against the Russian army for many years, and so the Russian Army will not have the capacity to fight in Moldova, but might offer so much financial support that Moldovans might accept becoming a puppet state.
1
The current Ukrainian government has only been in power for three years. God protect the Russian people from its despotic leader.
1
Don't tell the Russians about their strategic mistakes! Never interrupt your enemy when they are making mistakes.
1
Russia will also be in stone age after the war.
