I'm surprised at BBB. I thought he would have a more balanced viewpoint, but perhaps this only serves to reinforce something we already knew - that race is still a hot topic in the UK.

That's a fair ask, but it's a very difficult problem to solve, and it is isn't helped by overlaying the problem with racial hatred (not that you have expressed any in your post).

Pretty much everyone is a foreigner! Most people in the UK can trace their families to the Vikings, the Norman Conquest or to Ireland and Scotland. There is not much Angle or Saxon blood left, and even than came from Europe. So arguing for mass deportations of foreigners is arguing that we should all be throw out. It's nonsensical. And the moment you say that you don't mean people who haven't been here for hundreds of years, you are making it racial, because you don't want people who are VISIBLLY foreign.

Ā @TheEndOfIndependantGeorgeĀ Thank the Conservative government for running the Courts and Tribunals service down so that justice takes forever.

Why would you need to criticise Islam? It's a faith like Christianity, but unlike Christianity, it doesn't require its followers to try to convert others to Islam. Much of what you think you know about Islam has been as a result of wars and coups in countries that have been Islamic states for hundreds if not thouhsands of years. It doesn't require religious wars, jihads, but has a word for them in the same way that English has the word 'crusade'. Christianity doesn't require anyone to go on a crusade. Isl;amaphobia isn't really a fear about the religion, but about the people who follow it, who happen to mostly be arab rather than caucasian, so really it's a fear about race.

It might appear to be hyperbole to you, but to many it is encouragement and adds to the sense that it is okay to stir up racial hatred.

And yet parliament made laws that Conservative, Labour and Liberal MPs agreed should be made to ensure that UK is a fair place for people to live.

Well, she would be less likely to hold rascist views, but anyone can make the mistake of expressing their views when they should not.

It's not a crime to hate somone or something, but it is a crime to discriminate or to threaten or incite violence because you hate certain things. You are free to hate in your own head.
