  146.  @ChristoMac  No, I have to have evidence before condemning a person, humans(some of them) take people for what they are or should I say project. If you call that blind trust or liking someone’s personality, yeah sure, but I need to see some red flags before I start questioning someone’s character. How about this, your last comment sent up a red flag that you don’t trust people of faith. Is that me making that assumption or is it instinctual?! The human brain can believe a lot of sh#t that ain’t true, some can effect a whole world and others are personal faith based. This dude thinks he is talking to god/Jesus everyday…then others are saying the worlds going to end because of a natural trace gas in our air and we have only 8 years to live unless we repent and destroy our energy systems that will cause death and hardship to lives.. Belief and faith can also build cities and bridges, bring medical advancement and save lives, make a person work to achieve a goal or a passion in life, my point is he isn’t a cult or abuser yet. Far from it. Last time I checked believing in a higher power isn’t a crime and preaching to others of your god isn’t a crime. It maybe ridiculous and come across as cultish, but some people need that authority in their lives to feel whole and part of a tribe. But there’s a reason we may fallow blindly, thousand of years of us human beings looking for a spiritual connection and told how to act and have purpose. If it turns out bad , I’ll be the first one to condemn them. But you can’t go around slandering a person who has done nothing just because they might become a cult….🙄

  162. I think Peter knows this already, but they are back dooring it through Canada to get to the US. I’m in Canada and live in the fastest growing place in Canada and lowest unemployment. You don’t need to sneak in, come in the front door and you will get excepted. If you are escaping war, persecution or poverty we have programs for that. The point is coming in as a tourist or visitor and then jump the border illegally to the US you are breaking international law. You can’t flee from your country..land in Canada and then flee across the Border illegally to the US, nor can you flee across the border illegally to Canada. I can’t even cross my local border with the US without a passport, as a matter of fact if I have a conviction that was 20 years ago or longer I will not get in without a pardon. Should I just jump the border..and just claim asylum? NO.. it ain’t going to happen! 😂 We can’t take in the fukn world and undocumented illegal aliens sneaking in are harming the immigrants that are coming in legally who have been jumping through hoops to become citizens. Landing here and then border jumping to the US doesn’t look like they were escaping poverty, it looks like a plan to use Canada as their entering point…so you lied about why you’ve come to Canada and then broke the law entering into the US illegally…. I can not even imagine what Mexico is going through with millions a year crossing their borders heading for the US, and the influx is world wide sneaking in. So excuse me if I don’t shed a tear if they have to come in orderly and have ID to prove were they are from. They discard them before entering, they need them at all the other borders but throw them away right before entering illegally across the US border… I think you know why…

  189. I Love Cali, there are so many interesting place in the north to visit, I always wondered how they survived?!🤷🏻‍♂️ They talk about over population but there vast tracts of empty land from Cali through to BC Canada. There should be land giveaways to the younger generation or older ones wanting to build a community. Maybe there’s a billionaire out there who would help with infrastructure, the locals and new arrivals work for the community corporation and get a plot of land for free. That’s how it was done in the not so old past. At war times it was done and to build a country it was done, there seems to be these small communities already growing slow, but a town can not rely on tourism exclusively ( I’m in one that makes money off it, but it is a pale comparison to how it was 20 years ago)its seasonal. The forest rights for plots logged would have to be looked at, a % of timber milled would have to go towards building structures local and replanting. I’m sure there is an ecological restoration already at work. We do it up here in BC canada and 65% of our lumber goes to the US. If Cali/ Trump put a tariff on our lumber coming into the US your community harvested timber would be worth more… I guess you may ask yourself why would I suggest to but tariffs on our timber? We have very few mills left because we sell the raw product to the US and China, and our forests are crown land that pick and chose who logs them, that being large global corporations. Ever wonder why Canadians go south to buy products when our dollar is at 68 to 72 cents on the dollar? Because our commodity boards put restrictions of products coming into Canada, grain, dairy, meat, all artificially inflating our prices. Canada is the biggest exporter of oil to the US, and our gas is more expensive than the USA. Most can’t afford gas these days. Tariff the fuk out of Canada, we’re taxed into oblivion by our own government… and Biden and our little potato head leader stopped a pipe line that could have benefited both countries… nope you like that terrorist oil from over seas.

  195. Kia Orana Peter, these islands are part of Māori exploration (Samoan)and extends to were I live in the Haida people on the west coast of Canada, to Rapa Nui and South America. Extremely interesting history and travels their people have made. Ask yourself why were all these farms shut down? Labour laws from the US made it unprofitable..and a tsunami. The thing is the Polynesians(Māori) brought these plants and others (taro)with them thousands of years ago. I’m a little questionable about these land claims, if none of your people want to go back to the land/ocean what’s the point of having the land? I respect the culture but you live on a remote island and are dependent on goods coming in, that vehicle you drive was shipped in that hat and tee shirt is from China, the lumber used to build the home Kai lives in probably came from here on the mainland, you live in a million dollar home… I’m on an island and grew up as a kid on smaller island that my family has property there today. Elders in there 70/80 with no power and had a well or rain water. They had to bring things in on a ferry and then a small boat to our island. We ate the shellfish and caught fish just like your grand mother, hardy resourceful people. And you’re angry that others are moving in and goods are coming in?! You benefit from this, why the fak aren’t you out getting food with your family when your grandma was doing it a hundred years ago? You’re getting a little long in the tooth(like me) bro.. I see land that could be growing crops or have a few animals to raise and get food from. But you didn’t and go on about the elders talking to you and the birds talking to you. You live in paradise, food is plentiful now.. and opportunities for your youth are there or on the mainland or other islands just like your ancestors did.
