Ever think of helping them? What responsibility is it for a person on vacation to help them, there’s plenty of others back home that are homeless why help yours?! There’s other reasons why they are homeless, but I guess that government you voted in is right on top on top of that…maybe they can send a few illegals your way to improve things? Don’t bite the hand that feeds you and probably employs most Hawaiians. Did you all just wake up to this?! Maybe I’ll catch a fight to the island and just set up a camp on the beach or build a hut like your ancestors did. Or I could just lounge on the beach and do drugs and get a social security check.

You live on an island and you can’t change what has happened, but you can control how it is managed for development. The gene is not going back in the bottle, you are part of the US and be happy to be in a free country instead of a dictatorship. Rarotonga and the Cook Islands have been self governed since the 60’s after British annexed but their head of state is King Charles. I live on an island controlled by the king. You have US government representatives work towards that… Or just keep pulling out the b#tching about how things used to be, when almost all your population is mixed or is outside races assimilated to your culture who has a say?! Ever wonder why your young people are leaving? I would think that there’s not much of an opportunity or jobs and if you separate from the US and block development there still wouldn’t be jobs. You’re a young looking guy, get the ball rolling and don’t expect the government to pay your bills. That extinction BS is a ploy, yeah things go extinct everyday and I’m sure your culture has taxed the native species to extinction. Like I said you’re on a island in pacific and the Māori travelled all over the pacific coming from Polynesia to Rapa Nui and the west coast of Vancouver island and there’s 170,000 in Australia so your population/ culture is world wide. Become unannexed and govern yourself…but what you going to do with those pesky outsiders that run your economy?🙄
