Great episode Peter, but your crabber doesn’t know how it prepare the crab before cooking. Take a cleaver chopping a live crab body in half with legs, take the shell off clean out the guts , then lightly chop half way through each section of the legs. Cook and then separate each leg with its section of the body, no picking out the meat it’s a crabsicle and making that light cut into the legs before cooking makes it easy to crack the sections of the legs apart with no cracker. Boil them in a tomato sauce with a little pepper for heat and the meat takes on the flavour . The only reason to cook a crab whole is to get tomalley in the top shell but it’s to much work to get the meat outta the crab after that. Your crabber is showing how not to cook and clean a crab, you want it fresh out of the pot after cooking.
