  10.  @rsokol71  My question, is more of a pondering. Chinese people are strong defenders, of the strong family notion. That they somehow, are more family oriented, than other cultures. What I’ve seen is the opposite. Communism has broken, the social bond. It’s all about getting advantage, and saving face. So no matter how bad, things are at home. Losing face is worse. It seems to explain, why the government, also acts like a two year old. Yes, I shouldn’t say private thing’s, in an obscure forum. Where the words, will drift into the soup of noise. It’s a bit of my frustration. Of being with someone, who has a defensive wall up. So no one can ever hurt her. But in reality, it just makes for anger, and no “constructive” outlet. My adult kids, don’t visit, because they are scared of her. Yes, her mom did beat her with a stick. For being interested in a boy. Her earliest years, she was raised by a relative. She did the same to her son, and feels guilty about it. Saying this here, feels like the modern version of. Looking at the night sky, and asking for answers.

  14. We never learn. China is now doing the same thing. Through financial, political, bribery, surveillance, and misinformation. Protect Taiwan, its success is an existential threat to the CCP.
