  14. Some of the Chinese people, lifted themselves out of poverty, by being allowed to work. After Mao, tried to starve everyone, they opened up. Most are still poor. Success!! The real China, is Taiwan. They didn't destroy the old artifacts, culture, have free speech, democracy, personal safety. (You don't see metal cages, around windows). Taiwan's per capita GDP, is higher than in any mainland city, or district. So of course, Taiwan is a threat, and must be destroyed. Is China being a threat to the rest of the world, a good thing??

  21.  @vlhc4642  Yes, I follow people who have spent lots of time in China. And care for the best, for the people, and the world. Not TV. I’m married to someone born and raised in China. So there is lots of communication with mainland people. Perhaps you have a vested interest, in the current regime. That’s ok for you. But it might not be best over all. All we can do is try to make a better world, for everyone.
