  1. Power, and a victim mentality, is terribly dangerous. Sheer madness, something bad happened in the past, so anything is now justified? We all have past injustices, grow up, be a positive member of the world. Context, who did the worst, to the Chinese people, Mao. Cleaning house, is not allowed, so enemies are needed. Do the Chinese people deserve, a paranoid, surveillance state?

  2.  @shangao4859  We did. The west was happy to see, China open up. And become a member of the world. Much better than the old Mao days, of him killing his own people, on a grand scale. China still has developing nation status, it still gets aid, from the west. We allowed them to join international bodies, on promises, not real change. We did change our tone. Now we are pulling away, from a bad actor.

  3. Some of the Chinese people, lifted themselves out of poverty, by being allowed to work. After Mao, tried to starve everyone, they opened up. Most are still poor. Success!! The real China, is Taiwan. They didn't destroy the old artifacts, culture, have free speech, democracy, personal safety. (You don't see metal cages, around windows). Taiwan's per capita GDP, is higher than in any mainland city, or district. So of course, Taiwan is a threat, and must be destroyed. Is China being a threat to the rest of the world, a good thing??
