  1. Shocking numbers. They have been so plentiful in the scrap yard. I assume, a ready supply of parts. My 850's are, auto blue/green 97 GLT estate, Turbo head, fitted out as a T5. Two, manual silver 97 AWD estate's, each with 98 T5 engines. I just gave one of the AWD's to an American friend, in Bellingham Wa. He may now have, the first one, in the USA. Others, Red auto 94 940 turbo sedan. 98 XC. Just sold, 86 240 sedan. Vancouver, Canada.

  2. Another important point. If any of it is made in China, it was made with brown coal. (Suicide). Not to mention the human rights issues, and financing their military.

  3. We fail to count. That most of these EV’s, solar panels, battery packs, and electronics, are made in China. China annually increases its coal burning. Is still by far the largest polluter. Controls cobalt mining, and other resource extraction. That completely ignores any human rights. They are fishing out the worlds oceans. While threatening us with a growing military. Stop sending your money, and investments there. Support the Chinese people, and the people of the world.

  5. Pollution at source. Most battery metals and components are made in increasingly coal fired China. The metals are processed, without western emission, or labour rules. Very nasty. But never included, in the lifecycle calculations.

  6. I have two of these, in silver. I run mine, with the propeller shaft out. To save the AWD system, weight, and fuel. Sometimes putting it back in for winter. (the real trick is, I have a 98XC, for snow, and back roads). I do have a spare prop shaft, and viscous coupler. it isn't pretty. If you can arrange shipping, and want it? I'll give it to you. Problem, I'm in Vancouver Canada.

  7.  @Marhowl  Hi, lost your message. 5 Silver AWD’s would be quite a meeting. But not likely to ever happen. Nova Scotia, is a great place, my daughter went to University there. In December, you say? Much better to visit, in summer, with its maritime climate. I’ll just send out, the viscous coupling. You can explain to airline security, that it’s not a bomb.
