  2. It’s tragic all the way round. Only the best, can properly fight a war. Leaving the rest, to breed at home. Leaving society, worse off. The “idea” of training, discipline, for all, makes sense. My step dad, was in WW2, from 39 on. We were lucky to get such an upstanding man back. He is on his death bed today. Never talked about the war, no glory he said.
