  2. It’s time to pull together, and to maintain freedom of speech, An example of a one party, surveillance state. My wife is visiting her mom in China. She is so disappointed with her old peers. The only thing they want to talk about is money, me first. Religion and politics are forbidden. The government talks down to the people. If they protest, they get rounded up, and dealt with. The people seem to have lost their souls. In contrast, the Taiwanese, are a very polite grounded courteous culture.
