It’s so hard to watch. My life long friend, has pushed everyone away from him. Has become angry, and always on guard for insults. He is uncle to my kids. He has shut them out too. I’ve seen old people get paranoid and shut in. But when he is your spirit brother… What to do?

@gabriellafox7948 Hi Gabriella. My life is mostly good, for its own reasons. As much as I worry about my friend. The rest of my time is mostly up to me. How I interpret, and deal with it. It sounds like your family, is not a source of positive energy. Have you tried to join any activity-interest groups? Where you get outside for hikes, or? A change of “normal”, to get out of a funk? Taking a course, just to switch focus? Getting out of a dark mindset, takes courage. I hope you can. We are all close to the edge.
