  1. If China decided to be democratic, free, peaceful, and prosperous, like Taiwan. Everyone could go back to being friends, with minor disputes. All those military expenses, could go to helping people, and the environment.

  2. Japan is a totally different place, than in the 1930’s. In regards to military mindset. Today it is purely defensive. Responding, to a completely unnecessary, but dangerous external threat.
