I was thinking that too. But if the metal is cut square. That would leave uneven ends?

@oldcrackadated Interesting, I guess that's with the metal loops containing it, while extending. The edges must be razor sharp. Do you recommend a winter tent, not the huge kind, that can't be packed in to the bush?

Do you recommend your hot tent? My daughter wants to do, snowshoe with a sled, winter camping. (We are in Canada) The best part, is the bears sleep in winter. I’ve seen eight of them on the trails this year. One even, when I was trail running naked.
