  1. The Mekong originates in Tibet, not China. Tibet is an occupied territory. Tibetans believe, that rivers have spirits, they should run free.

  4.  @anyone1200  Inconveniently for you. Until the invasion of the Chinese. Tibet had its own people, culture, and religion. If it was Chinese, it would just be Chinese. Official Chinese history after 1949, was re-written by the CCP.  Remember the four olds? You need to go to independent sources, for any Chinese history. Good luck, with your search.
