  2. @alias6989 It takes a lot of courage, to say that to your parents. So yes to your question. Of course he is confused, but feels strongly enough, to communicate. A lot of patience, a safe environment, and a lot of talk, would be required. I'd be proud as a parent, to know my child feels safe enough, to talk to me about a difficult topic. He could also say, I hurt someone, I'm in a gang, I'm doing drugs, my gf is pregnant. If your child is scared of you, they won't tell you. The chance to help them through difficult times, may be missed.
