  2.  @georgehenderson7783  Home prices and rents, are beyond sky high. The city really messed things up, by relying on offshore money. It's created a lot of instability, and dislocation. Until recently worked in 14 apartment buildings. 13 are Chinese owned. The last one is owned by, a long term local, but he is 96 years old.

  3. Taiwan is higher than New Zealand, on the freedom index. I wonder how Hong Kong is doing?

  4.  @ThuanGiaPhan  Taiwan is at 94, Hong Kong is 42, China is at 9/100. I can’t find what HK was ten years or more ago. For comparison, from well before the takeover transition, losing their rights.
