A timely topic. Just the other day, driving past the “sky train” station, in Vancouver. My Chinese born wife said, “when I came here, transit payment, was on the honour system” “Now it isn’t, did we do that”? She wasn’t born, under Mao. But her parents were. So you get another generation, that is angry, and messed up. Many chinese families, are still very fractured.

@americanfreedomworldpeace The difference I found, is. In China, they are reminded of perceived insults against them. Deflecting, from the current 70 years of humiliation. While in Vietnam, a country that has been repeatedly occupied, or attacked. Doesn't cling to old grudges. The people are proud, open, and friendly. They may not like their government. But at least, it's their own people.

@moneypenny5436 Yes, they don’t function as intended. For those who need help. There’s one near me, in Vancouver. The older Chinese ladies, line up around the block with their carts. Seeing that, I lose my desire to volunteer, or donate to any food banks.

@edstevens4439 They are my nemesis. The little buggers, only come when the grapes cherries or plums, etc. is just ripe. And the fish in my back yard pond, are lazy and fat.
