That is the only advantage, of their king of governance. In Canada, it takes years of consultation, and legal battles, to build a small piece of transit line. It is frustrating, doing it the right way.

@theoneandonlypinkypinky8245 You are right, it isn’t fair, for the regular Chinese people. How else, can we make life difficult, for the criminals running the country? If we send money to China, some of it goes to a military, that is threatening, the whole world. Sending our money says, occupying Tibet is ok. Etc.

We all know, that the CCP controls the narrative. What about, some of the mythology? Like how, family means more than in other cultures. Famine, Mao’s reign, new wealth, a narcissistic government, all create, a fair amount of dysfunction in families. I keep hearing how Chinese families are so close and supportive. What I hear, contradicts this notion. My wife, and stepson, are from Beijing. Her stories, and her, from the mainland, Chinese acquaintances. Have horrendous tales, of jealousy, abuse, and neglect. I don’t know if it’s worse, than from other places. But it sure isn’t better. Thank you Winston, for your reporting, of your experience. It will take many voices, to silence, the ministry of truth.
