  1. Someone did a test of stacking pads. Sorry I don’t remember who. They found that the closed cell, on top of the air pad. Was warmer, than the reverse. I like to use the closed cell on the bottom to prevent a puncture. It happened to me on the last night, of an 11 day hike. Very annoying.
