Anyone taught, that there is still slavery, in the world?

@USGrant-rr2by You are right. If I’m getting you. History should not be rewritten. To make, some people look better. Or others worse. I’m saying, slavery is happening now, in some places. I don’t know what the answer is, to get rid of it. Awareness is a start. Like not buying Chinese products, and saying why. One way to honour those who were wronged in the past. Is to prevent it now, and in the future.

@laras678 The topic, was partially about slavery. We know that there are certain levels of slavery in the world. Like with domestic help in Dubai, or prostitution. Why I mention it, is. Because China invaded Xinjiang, and it is systematically removing, or neutering the Uighur peoples. If they are not in work camps, the women are forced to marry Chinese men. With a surveillance state, they manage the story. While we like to buy cheap clothing, and manufactured goods. (It's also a cotton growing region). It's a related topic, and very important. Because it is happening to real people, right now.
