  1. I think recognition from other places, is more important. So it's not just a USA vs China, thing. We need to work together. If we don't want our kids, in labour/education camps.

  2. A bad news story. Turned into a good news story.  Having been to China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, myself. Taiwan is worth saving for being a shining example. Of being an amazing, socially successful, prosperous, democratic, country. Constantly under threat, by a large all controlling dictatorship. If we don't support Taiwan sufficiently, it's on us, we are next. The people are amazingly nice, and grounded. They didn't experience Mao, ripping the culture apart. Then setting the stage, for a government that stands on the people's necks.
