  1. On this topic. My Chinese born wife has a box full of antibiotics. “Take them till you feel better” Umm no!! She claims to be trained as a medical dr. It’s like using DDT, to clear the sea cucumber rearing ponds. No problem.

  4.  @janesees5578  Thank you for your opinion. My comment is about the dangerous use of antibiotics. How it seems to be a social norm in China. As evidenced by my wife, who is a lot more educated than the norm. Publicly? Nobody here knows me, or her. We have both learned a lot of things together. We have visited many countries. But after going to China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan together. She remarked, how empty her old friends and workmates are. They only talk about money, or the things they have. That the people it Taiwan, were so grounded, and polite. We were both very impressed with Taiwan. It is special. I wouldn't go there now, but HK was interesting too.
