  3.  @peterseth3296  Technically yes. But there is a big difference. China, has state controls, on all media, and messaging. They use this machine, to hide behind, and to control what they're people, and outsiders do, and think. It is an instrument for unconventional war, to suppress ethnic minorities, religious groups, and create dissent elsewhere.  The other side of the coin, is face down. It needs to see the light of day. A few people, getting facts out, verified, and disseminated, is crucial.

  4.  @peterseth3296  Freedom of speech, is the only tool available, to the oppressed. It is essential, in a healthy society. Are you aware, that if you visit Xinjiang, it is within a controlled bubble. You only see, what they want you to see. If there was any “terrorism”, it would have been to defend their home, culture, and family. That is what you are supposed to do, when your land is occupied.

  5. Free speech, is the only tool, for the oppressed. China can be a wonderful, peaceful, prosperous, democracy, if they want to. Look at Taiwan, for an example.
