We, also subsidies their shipping, and postal rates, same as for poor African countries. Thus killing any of our own businesses, that ship things. Last year, We Canada, sent 7.59 million dollars in foreign aid, to China. 18.2 million dollars, in export development loans. 159.2 million Dollars, share purchase, of asian infrastructure Bank of Beijing. Without, western investment, tech transfers, western subsidized shipping rates, forced labour, and massive coal burning, that will kill us all. Two new plants every week, last year. With 270 planned, for the next two years. Read my post above. The only enemy of Taiwan is China. Go there it is a great place, with really polite nice people.

  31.  @stlouisix3  What we can do is counter their propaganda, and algorithms. The CCP seems to respond to action, or force, they ignore diplomatic talk and promises. If we collectively call bullshit, on their aggressions. There is a chance at least, of them backing down. Even the new chat GTP, is programmed to avoid "controversial" topics in English. But if you ask in Mandarin, or cantonese, it denies the bad things happen, altogether. So, who is writing the programs? That's a good question.

  38. I’ve been to China, and Hong Kong. We are visiting Taipei right now. This place should be, a world heritage site. It is the hope for the world. If China could be like Taiwan. We would have peace, religious freedom, freedom of speech, prosperity. Most of all, charming people, and no need for military buildup.
