The China Show, does a good in depth analysis of the balloon story. Part of it, is comparing the external, to the internal narrative.

@sumiland6445 These guys lived in China, for a long time. They toured most of the country by motorcycle. Fell in love with the place and the people. But then experienced, the closing down, and the surveillance of everything. The turning inward to the bad old Mao style. Or ADV, Lahowy86, they have some other channels.

@sumiland6445 If you watch their old travel videos. You see that they have a deep understanding, of the country. They still love the country. But realize that the government is a danger to its citizens, and the world.
