@GodofDisco Middle East is torn because of following reasons. 1. USA, UK and France. (Their imperialism and messy borders they drew). 2. Israel (With the help of West, Israel is sabotaging Middle East because it feels threatened if they are in power) 3. Kurds (40 million people in 4 different countries and destabilizing all of them. Another American proxy. I'm not denying the persecution they have been subjected to. Problem can be traced back to messy borders). 4. Saudi-Iran civil war (started in 79' with Iranian revolution). Arab world lived in peace under Ottoman empire and continued to live in peace under Baa'thists rule as well. Sectarian Mullah regime in Iran ruined everything. Sunnis and Shias get along just fine in Pakistan even though Iran and KSA tried to force this cold war mentality on Pakistani population as well.
