@annarock8966 Stalin didn't want to divide Germany even in 1945. He just wanted Germany to be permanently demilitarized. But USA and UK were hell bent on keeping West Germany and have millitary presence there. This led to erection of Berlin wall.

Even US proxy war with Russia is hurting Germany the most. Nord Stream pipeline was blown by someone. And it was not Russia. Do the math.
