  1. Most HK people I know are much more happy and free with mainland than with UK before, do research if you wish to, this is my experience, with UK they had no voice of their own. Hong Kong has never been as free like it is now, that's why lots of them are not aligning with protesters at all, they dont represent or speak for HK people. As I see it, this is a protest, not a revolution joined willingly by most HK people. Democracy doesn't work for all countries and lots of Chinese people realize that and have no problem with it.

  2. However, HK has become like a lost child, lots of youngsters barely speak English and also barely speak Mandarin, over all those years they have established their own culture, it is unreasonable to act based on ideas what belongs to China or not, but what is best for the people NOW.
