Many of them are alive just because of that choice, we are not blank slate, trans children know their gender even since 3, it is highly recommended for some of them to get them on hormones as early as 13 years of age, pushing them into puberty has been proven numerous times as a severe child abuse that usually aends in suicide. We all need to make sure these tranisiton still in childhood before more damage has been done, which is harder to be undone. It is parents that give consent for any medication, when a child has a cancer or any illness, they dont need to give consent either, its up to parents as their guardians, the fact that government even dares to interfere in this is outrageous, think about it what kind of overreach that is, imagine yourself being that child suffering something and some treatment was denied to you due to government.

Christians, muslims, yogis and monks were born trans and transitioned over the course of the last 100 years. They are much closer to God than most people on earth, they are the teachers for our sick mankind that self projects that sickness onto them!

Just like intersex people born with a condition that requires taking hormones for the rest of their life.Gender affirming care is the only way how to be alive, many people for generations used to commit suicide, amongst these were trans, the fact you see some trans people alive today is thanks to GFC. Self righteous in your statement is what kills people, its no different from what religions used to propagate and force into others, it's a child abuse most of all. Most detransitioners re-transition later in life again, including thosse who used to claim they were never trans, unlike trans people who went all the way, many of them are still very confused people that should not be taken seriously until they figured themselves out.

Trans is a physiological handicap, not mental illness, confirmed by the majority of all scientists, psychologists and medical professionals. This is the exact opposite of lobotomies, it does not erase the mind, hormonal therapy and surgery is part and parcel of a holistic treatment because it tackles the entire body, not just the mind, since being trans could have never been treated psychologically, since the root cause is not psychological. Trans healthcare is amongst the first that avoids the monstrosities of the past where people were pushed into lobotomy, electrical shocks or sent into mental institutions, anything just to change the brain so people could fit into their norm, now the approach is to change the body form instead, yet that is the threat to the system that exploits the body in order to oppress the mind that seeks authentic self expression, calling it an ideology is a way how to make it seem like they can force the change in the mind again. This is why it is the extreme opposite of lobotomy. It is a recolutionary treatment that truly works on multiple levels.

@Skiingismedicine Some people know themselves enough that they dont need to wait any longer, the unnecessary waiting time is what is terrifying. Most trans people dont need to wait. Big Pharma gains more money from non-hormonal therapy by the way, there has been studies done on this, they would have more money from just talkative therapy, go figure.

@suitcase6698 They do allow permanent changes to a child's body when they let them practice ballet in a young age which can damage their body. They allow permanent changes to the body of an intersex child that goes on hormones around age 12 for the same reason only because their condition does not produce enough hormones on their own, but permament changes are there to. Detransitioners are an extreme minority, there will always be mistakes like with any treatment, or diet, it is unavoidable. Many trans children dont grow up to be 18, because they take their own lives, thats why they need to go on hormones around 13/14 right away! This is not debatable.

The validity of gender affirming care is no longer debatable since it was confirmed through multiple research studies that most benefit. NEVER ever listen to detransitioners who may have never been trans, but merely gender non-conforming, most of them are just confused and re-transition, at least based on extensive research. You cant treat a physiological condition trans people were born with with psychotherapy. Trans people are born intersex at the level of their neurobiology, they experience brain and body misalignment, which results in depression and ungroundedness, and which ultimately leads to lack of care about themselves or life in general, and this the path ends in suicide sometimes.

hormonal therapy is not experimental at all, it's been around for about 100 years now, it's been proven for decades to be allevaiting depression and even entirely eliminating gender dysphoria especially after surgery, through research it has also been proven to be saving life.

Yes like for intersex children or babies born with 2 heads, except unlike in their case, most trans children that were castrated are grateful it was done to them 20 years later, unlike many intersex children. So please shut up!
