@2dope96 The ukraine comparison is kinda flawed since its the Ukrainians who are the ones suffering abhorrent casualties which as the defenders they really should be inflicting way more casualties than they are taking but its flipped in this war its so bad most of the young men are gone and the average age of a Ukrainian soldier is 45 now

They wouldn't need to. Imagine how blood for the US Iraq would have been if Russia just dumped military hardware into Iraq the way the US and NATO is dumping hardware in Ukraine. That's basically the future of war for the west. No more going up against peasant framers in flip flops with 50 year old rifles the enemy will have body armor ATGMS & MANPADs its going to be a mess.
