China is still doing stupid things when it comes to their environment their great green wall is a total failure because instead of trying to stop desertification by returning former grasslands to being grasslands again they decided to plant billions of trees which only greatly increased desertification

@prfwrx2497 That's already kind of happened also I believe 1/3 of the trees already died and 1/3 of the trees are dwarf trees 🙄literally all they had to do was plant grass hell they could have had a new wool industry by now

@prfwrx2497 the land turning into desserts use to be grassland then the communists turned the land into farms if they want to save large swaths of the nation from turning into desserts grassland is their best option

@Ariqginjall93 i would look to the land historically speaking if the land was grassland for a hundred genorations it might not be able to sustain large woodlands but grassland can be made profitable and fertile through use of grazing animals
